About

Irish Recruiters was set up in December 2007 by Declan Fitzgerald to raise the level of recruitment sophistication in Ireland so that as a community Irish Recruiters and Ireland can be seen as a global location for recruitment excellence. The community started off as a humble LinkedIn group and quickly grew to incorporate regular face to face events in the form of Tuesday Clubs, half day conferences, tweet-ups and golf-outings.

The community promotes discussion, networking and education in a respectful and collaborative environment across a wide variety of disciplines across the recruitment and HR industry:  in-house recruiters, agency recruiters, job boards, consultants, career officers, hr managers, etc.

Irish Recruiters is not the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) or National Recruitment Federation (NRF). It promotes community across all discplines and is focused on how technology is evoling recruitment, the globalisation of recruitment and the future of recruitment
